Came across a reddit topic that really puts a reason behind the “Just give it a go” attitude

Do NOT underestimate the simple things you do, seriously.

In the briefest of summary - the OP was bouncing a request for help because they didn’t think they could handle the problem. The requester of the help was getting desperate and kept coming back. The OP finally relented and gave it a look-see… Then fixed it. Immediately.

Never underestimate your ability, your ability to help despite it not being your skillset, and most importantly - Never underestimate your Google-fu.

You got this.

Unless it’s a toaster. Don’t try to fix toasters.
